We have an outdoor playgroup running on the farm for toddlers and their parents/carers.
It is set in our outdoor kitchen, a lovely covered space that is definitely outdoors but protected from the rain.
Organised by Rachel, a local childminder, it is a lovely example of community working together.
Runs fortnightly on Thursdays from 1030-1145. There is no charge to attend, but we would hope all parents/carers would consider joining our Friends of the Farm scheme, supporting the farm with a £5 donation per month.
There is no particular target age for the children as it is up to the carer to look after the child and help them access the play activities. As long as carers realise it’s a farm and it can be mucky, it all seems to work!
