The ‘Grow Your Own’ Festival brings joy to the whole team – it is a time when we see the hard work of winter and spring coming out into plants and the start of some produce too.
Our volunteers work throughout the year to produce vegetables and seedlings so that the community can start their own garden at home. We aim to inspire and support new gardeners in how to grow, forage and harvest their own produce.
Pam’s Pop-up Lunch!
During the event, we sold some of Pam’s delicious homemade Wild Green Soup. This was foraged from the Farm using stinging nettles and wild garlic to create a tasty and healthy bright green soup. This was accompanied with a homemade savoury scone. We love to see the farm coming to life not just in the beaut of the land but also through the beauty of the food it can create. We hope to have inspired some of our customers to go and try foraging themselves and turning this into delicious food too.
A huge thank you to our crafting tables who joined us for this event. It’s always a joy to see the local community bringing their creations and their influence to the Farm. We are privileged to be able to support such creative, entrepreneurial and motivated people.
