Festive Farm

** Tickets are now sold out. Sorry. **

** Lockdown 2.0 **

Festive Farm is planned for Saturday 12th December.
There are 5 sessions to choose from: 0930-1100; 1115-1245; 1300-1430; 1445-1615; 1630-1800.

Imagine a beautiful, seasonal, sustainable, outdoor marketplace of local, ethically-minded producers interspersed between vegetable beds, apple, oak and willow trees and free range chickens and ducks browsing for food.

Imagine a one-way system, for a stroll around this idyllic place and the opportunity to meet the producers, hear their stories and purchase unique Christmas gifts for others or treats for home.

Imagine rounding it off with warming seasonal drinks or hot street food cooked from farm produce!

This is what we aspire to achieve, for the first time this year.

Following the introduction of lockdown 2.0 we have changed the Festive Farm dates. We are now planning for one day of Festive Farm on Saturday 12th December.

In accordance with our covid-19 risk assessment we will be limiting the number of people on site. You can just turn up on first-come first-served basis, or you can book your place for £1 per person. Your £1 is redeemable at our refreshments table.

There are 5 sessions to choose from: 0930-1100; 1115-1245; 1300-1430; 1445-1615; 1630-1800.

How to get involved
Our site development group of volunteers is hard at work building the 20 trading tables, in addition to hamper crates (from reclaimed wood). There is also signage and lighting for the site to be planned and carried out.

We would love more local community members in Southampton and nearby to help us in creating this experience by joining the site development group and obviously also to visit on market days.

Our values and hopes
We urge all friends and neighbours this year, more than any other year, to buy local, buy ethical, and buy from independents as much as possible.

This season it will make a real difference to real families running businesses in your area. Creating not just a ‘new normal’ but brighter healthier futures in our local lives.
